What does JCI accreditation actually check?
JCI is an international standard, and its audits cover similar ground — patient safety, infection control, governance — but benchmarked against a global standard rather than an India-specific one. Hospitals that treat significant numbers of international patients tend to pursue JCI alongside NABH.
Does accreditation guarantee a good outcome?
No single badge guarantees a good outcome for your specific case. Accreditation tells you the hospital meets a baseline of safety and process discipline — it doesn't tell you whether that hospital's cardiology or oncology department specifically has strong outcomes for your condition.
